LEROY NICHOLS Principal's Message SCHOOL LIFE f r HERE is no more interesting or important period in the life of an individual than the time spent in school. The year book is a graphic reminder of school days. May the 1936 , Tokay bring to each member of the class of 1936 many memories of a profitable and pleasant high school career. Four years spent in high school have made great changes in each graduate. These changes, good or bad. are largely the results of the contributions i lade by the student himself and they are extremely significant because they will influence life in the future. Good teachers and excellent school equipment greatly facilitate pupil growth only when the pupil gives cooperation and active participation in the school program. Each graduate has made his own record. Contrary to a common statement he is not leaving his record behind. He is very definitely taking it with him. It is written in personality, in character, in reputation and in the minds and hearts of companions and citizens of the community. It is my hope that each record will be very commendable and a very fine future asset. Six — Leroy Nichols
