They were Juanita Darr, Janet Benton, Carol Kaylor, Beverly Patterson, Jerry Yost, Suzann Parker, Dennis Gilbert, Betty Calame, Joan Colbert, June Sharp, Tom Packard, Sherry Fisher, Pat Gedos, Janet Benton, Fred Whitacre, Larry Gunk, Jack Hastings, Bob Phillips, Diana Dague, Bruce Pope, Jerry Underwood, and Diane Tanner, By the second grade school was old hat. Some of us had difficulty remembering that Miss Loomis was now Mrs, Hutton, First grade babies, second grade tots, third grade angels,--we were an exception to that one, But Mrs. Cummins and Mrs, Hollinger did a marvelous job with us. Most of us knew our multiplication table by the time we left. Mary Etta and Nancy joined us this year, The fourth grade meant being able to play on the ‘‘older’® side of the schoolhouse, writing and producing plays but tragedy in the loss of David Stone from our class, Even though David has been an invalid since he has always remained with us in spirit, Erroll and Tim were the additions this year, Our first year of being on the second floor came next, The thrill and the superior feeling in climbing those stairs -- and ever since we have had the privilege of climbing stairs to ourhome room (Ugh), Bonny and Jane were the new additions this year, The sixth grade was filled with many and exciting activities among which square- dancing was outstanding, Jim Allen joined us that memorable year. In the seventh grade we became the target of all complaints and the eighth wasn’t much better, as we were just beginning to work as a class, Vera became one of us that year, The year we became freshmen was the beginning of a new era in our high school life, It now became necessary to make money by the standard method of bakesales. Our sophomore year was the big year to join clubs, Dramatic Club, F, T, A, - there were so many we had little time for class activities. Juniors, whoosh--all our hard earned money spent on a prom, And what a prom? There never was a better one! This year our class went to New York for five days and discovered that Mr. | Spechalske who has been our Lord and master the past four years has a wonderful wife and is a great guy himself. | 104 SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY June 1, 3050 Today, an ancient diary was discovered which, it is believed, was written around 1975 A.D, about a small civilization called seniors originating in a small community called Lodi. The author is unknown except for the initials S, P, but it was probably one of the group, We are publishing one of the diary pages in its entirety. Dear Diary, I just returned from our class reunion. Ron Acker has become a devoted bishop in Florida, his hobby is raising orange trees. June Sharp and Sharon Liston are Rockettes -- and doing quite well. Jack Hastings is a very famous surgeon -- his specialty is piercing ears. Bev Patterson has just turned down her sixteenth chance to graduate. Janet Benton now manufactures mink covered batons for luxury loving majorettes, Her chairman of the board is Jerry Underwood. His job is feeding the mink. Dave Whinery and Carl Nichols are running a nursery where they are raising corn smut and wheat rust. Jim Allen is the most eligible bachelor for the Detroit debs since his flying car has grossed him enough to build a fifty-room mansion at Gross Point, Michigan. Linda Friend and Helen Berky who are teaching at Leroy say the new county supervisor, Jean Snider, is a regular slave-driver, Tim Noggle has just finished his tenth detective movie, The Guy and the Doll, Charlie Mabry’s fame is world wide on stage, screen, and radio. He is known as Wild Horse Charlie, King of the Cowboys. Bernie Baker also is making show biz history. His business managers Errol Spellman and Bruce Pope just love to hear the girls swoon over his crooning. Guyles Clifford spends most ofhis time playing guitar and singing over radio station W SM on THE GRAND OLE’ OPRY, the rest, in singing lullabies to his fourth set of twins. We are anxiously awaiting news from Jane Massie, Jerry Yost, Fred Whitacre, and Larry Funk, who should be now returning from the first trip to Mars. Racing car enthusiast Don Love is doing well in Italy. His fifth wife is an Italian Duchess. Bob Phillips and Joan Colbert, wh ois now a platinum blonde, are now instiff competition to be leading swimming pool manufacturers, Sue Young is an English professor and Jim Mosher a mathematics professor at Purdue University. Mary Mosgrove work’s for Medina Chamber of Commerce publicity department. Mary Etta Edwards Shillings is president of P,T.A, mayor and socialite of Burbank. Mike Drotleff, Janet Forrester, Maija Sakne, and Nancy Repp, who left for deepest Africa soon after graduation have become members of the mau-mau tribe - of course this is only rumor. After a ten year engagement Lenore Gray and Tom Packard will be married next week -- that is if Tom wins the World Championship Boxing Match, tomorrow. Shirley Tanner is enjoying life as a traveling ice cream saleswoman, Diana Dague works for Walt Disney studios where she created a popular new cartoon, Betty Easterday is the World renown fortune teller Madame Fonzo, Juanita Darr is residing at Applecreek (as head secretary), Delma Ross, Loretta Skidmore, and Ann Wessolek manufacture hair thinner for people with fat hair, Clarence Heilman draws the commercials for the company. Audrey Foth is a struggling artist of the 1960 yearbook cover fame, It seems she didn’t get a patent on it soon enough. Bonny Kahl is a missionary looking for our poor lost classmates in Africa, Bev Surrarrer Wilson and Troy have a lovely home in Alaska where they have succeeded in raising Palm Trees, Sherry Fisher and Vera Tripplett raise kangaroos in Australia. Ted Groenstein runs the Lodi Bar and Grill. Dennis Esterle has his own service station complete with girl attendants.
