Article 10 Georgia Hoff wills her quiet ways in school to Ryta Derhammer and her ability to make milkshakes to Eva Indoe. Article 11 Dean Hopkins leaves his love to experiment with explosives to Bill Devoe and hopes that Bill does not come as near “blowing up” the schoolhouse as Dean did. Article 12 Delores Horner leaves her Homecoming Queen Crown to next year's leading candidate. Article 13 Eloise House wills her love for Physics to Betty McGarvey and her ability to walk to school in one minute to anyone who lives out at the west end of Bank Street. Article 14 Don Houston leaves his ability to ‘'skip’’ school to anyone who thinks he can get away with it, and his ability to play the tuba to Harold McGrady. Article 15 Alan Krantz wills his musical abilities to Gerald Klinect and his shiny Mercury to Ralph Tanner. Article 16 Boyd Lance leaves his love for Art to Marlene Kindig and his Model A Ford to Mrs. Schafer. Article 17. Tom Leatherman wills his ability to get to school on time to Larry House. (You see Larry lives so much farther away than Tom does.) Article 18 Gloria Lutsch leaves her seat on the bus to Dale Sanford and her love for Business Law to Betty Young. Article 19 Vanda Mann wills her ability to talk Mr. Skurvid out of ideas to anyone who thinks he can handle him as well as she did. Article 20 Bill Manke leaves his ability to come to school with a necktie on every day to Gordon Warnes. (Be sure it's straight, Gordon.) Article 21 Eylaine Pickering wills her ability to walk so far to school and get there on time to anyone who feels that he cannot afford a taxi. Article 22 Roger Ripley leaves his seldom used football suit to Bob Under- wood and hopes he will get more use out of it than Roger did. Article 23 Floris Snider wills her way with truck drivers to anyone who works out at Mom's in the future. Article 24 Bob Strouse leaves his ability to sleep in school to anyone who can do as good a job of sleeping as Bob did. Article 25 Bob Vandemark wills his ability to keep girls out so late at night to Junior Dague. (Junior seems to be another one of these ‘night owls.”’) Article 26 Jack Warner leaves his driving skill to Ramon Weaver. (It seems that Ramon doesn't know that a Buick is heavier than a Ford.) Article 27 Jeannine Ziegler wills her ability to run errands for Mr. Wood in Government class to any ambitious Junior. (Signed) The Class of 1948

Last Will And Testament OF CLASS OF 1948 SECTION I Article 1 To the teachers we leave our quiet dispositions and our ability always to get to school on time in the morning. Article 2 To Mr. Butdorf we leave all the chewing gum that we have deposited under the desks. Article 3 To the Juniors we leave our Government books, all five of them, in a better condition than we found them. Article 4 To the Sophomores we leave our ability to laugh at Mr. Wood's jokes, as he will probably be telling those same jokes when they get to be Seniors. Article 5 To the Freshmen we will our good looks and athletic ability. (May they look as good on the field as we did.) SECTION II Article 1 Lewis Aukerman wills his athletic ability to Buddy Strouse in hopes that Buddy can make the team next year. Article 2 Betty Berry leaves her height to Corky Miller and her liking for Spanish to John Havens. Article 3 Furman Bowers would like to will his ability to write poetry to Junior Mathys and hopes that it doesn't get him into any trouble. Article 4 Don Burkey leaves his ‘‘Gildersleeve Laugh” to Kathy Smith so she can try to get away with it in Mrs. McEnroe’s English class next year just as he did. Article 5 Bill Burnett wills his ability to get dates with Shirley Reed to Bob Viergutz. (May Bob do a little better than Bill did.) Article 6 Virginia Clouse leaves her ability to change Miss Webb's mind to anyone who can use it. Article 7 Frank Clover wills his ability to play the drums to Prem Sampsel and his blushing ability to Miss Webb. Article 8 Vera Flanagan leaves her ability to beat the bass drum to Pat Laidley so she can make as much noise on it as Vera did. Article 9 Bette Haller leaves her laughing personality to Miss Jones and her typing speed to Edmund Ginter.
