Class History by Marjorie Piatt On a bright September day in 1931, we, a group of shy frightened children, climbed the hill to school for the first time. We were met at the door of the First.Grade room by Miss O'Hara who welcomed us and soon made us feel at ease, In our group was Marilyn Barnhart, Janet Bartholomai, Mary Bowman, Alice Cook, Vivienne Crosby, Robert DeVoe, Ralph Farner, Duane Garberich, Lillian Gorey, Gerald Patterson, James Repp, John Snell, Dale Whitacre, and Barbara Whitright. In the Third Grade we had Miss Vanasdal as our teacher, That year two boys, Andy Caesar and Winfred McViciker entered our classe While we were in the Fourth Grade we always secmed to be getting into trouble.
