The REGISTRAITS OFFICE is one of the busiest places in the Ad build- ing. By 7:50 each morning Mr. War- ren, registrar, is found in a flurry of accepting and declining the varied excuses given by students who have been absent or tardy the day before, As fall appears in the yearly cycle of seasons and as the leaves turn from the many shades of green to rustic browns and yellows, Mr. and Mrs. Warren and their daughter, Do- nelle, find raking leaves both neces- sary and enjoyable as a FAMILY project on a balmy aiternoon. lfiglzt egdatmz manic ' fum Being registrar is no small job as MR. DONALD NV!-XRREN, A.B,, has found, Enrolling 250-300 stu- dents each fall proves to he very interesting though. Registration over, Mr. Warren finds him- self with absence lists galorekthen grades, honor rolls, and transcripts to process. f-listory of all ages from Qld Testament days to current events in the United States furnishes the topics which he discusses daily in his classes of senior and freshmen students. As a sponsor for the Senior Class of '56, chair- man of the Social Committee, and part-time pho- tographer for the Lodian Light, he seems to be husy every minute of the day. Even though his schedule is filled with many activities, he does find time to be with his like- wise-energetic and friendly family.

mm make ' ' 4 zeal lame! de atcwlewle me may pam ' jafka. l'Hey, Chief, what's all the noise about? is a familiar expression to the boys of North Hall when they misuse their study period. MR. DON PRlOR, AB., the boys' dean, is really fitted for the job. The fellows can't figure out why they can't get away with anything! How does their dean know what tricks to hunt for? Mr, Prior is frequently found participating with the fellows in their sports, and on Friday .nights he usually sings first tenor with the dorrn quartet for worship. l-lis teaching load includes the new drivers' education course, tumbling, and several classes of physical education. DEAN Prior is a real dad-away-from-home not only lor Bob Ostermiller, but for all the dorm fellows ol Lodi Academy. Water skiis bring many wonderful memories of summer fun to Mr. and Mrs. Prior and Cindy. Gary doesn't seem quite sure that he's following the FAMILY conversation. Careful, there now, are they lined up all right? , asks lim Ashley as Mr. Prior instructs him in a DRIVER EDU- CATION test given to determine accuracy in judging dis- tances. CIO
