Your Christian education here should give you a foundation training for the kind of persons the world is needing today. It is easy to become so busy in sell-preparation that there is little time left for the touch ol human understanding which is necessary if We are to be large in thought, in word, and in deed. Lift high your heads, have faith and courage to see the need of the world today, then live and serve. Spring fever strikes Chemistry is explored lust as you have now come to the end of the Senior Class pages, so we Seniors have come almost to the end of our academy schooling. As we look back over the four years during which Lodi Academy has been our home, we think first of our freshman year and of the time we first set foot upon our academy campus. At that time, finding academy life so new and altogether different, we entered into each new experience with exciting anticipa- tion, as well as with great awe. Oh, how we gazed with deepest respect at the Seniors who buzzed right past us! Once we became sophomores, we felt that we really were getting up on the ladder to success. Next was the junior year, when we tried so hard to outsmart the Seniors, who-for some reason or the other-always kept a step ahead of us. Then came that wonderful feeling of being Seniors, that even better feeling of having made the class, and that best-of-all feeling of knowing that we have made the grade and that we shall be receiving the principal's congratulatory handshake at the end of a suc- cessful senior year, We trust that you, our parents and friends, will enjoy these memories as much as we do, each time you browse through the 1951 LODIAN LIGHT.
