Elmer Main Superintendent SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE As I complete my second year in the Lodge Grass Schools, I find more and more the challenges that the students and teachers are facing require maximum effort. The intricate process of coordinating cultures curricula, and current activities seem to me to be an important factor in taking up the challenge. The progress that we make does not come in giant strides, however, it is progress. This means that we are not going backwards. The fields that you choose for your life work, becomes increasingly important as you continue to mature. The years that you spent in high school should be your formative years. Time which is used mainly for molding your course for the future. If you have wasted five minutes of this time you will never get it back. Therefore, time is one of the most valuable things in the world. I have thoroughly enjoyed knowing each of you. I have gained valuable lessons from the experiences which we shared. I hope I have helped you gain something of value. My message, then, is to take up the challenges that confront you now and use them to make a better world for all of us. 6 Elmer M. Main
