DEDICATION We, the student of Lodge Grass High School would like to express our appreciation to Nyunt Maung for his guidance and knowledge that he has put forth to the student body of Lodge Grass High School. 2 SUPERINTENDENTS MESSAGE To the Students of Lodge Grass school and especially to those seniors who will be graduated in May 1962: The facts and figures which have been patiently presented to you by your teachers during the first twelve years of schooling are the foundation upon which your future must be built. Those of you who have not laid a solid foundation must repair or your future may well collapse. Congratulations to those seniors who will be graduated this May. We believe that you have earned your diploma and can build for the future with confidence. Milton Molsberry 4 PRINCIPALS MESSAGE: As a parting word to our graduating seniors, I wish to warn them that it is hard, if not impossible, for a person to quickly explain or show what he has achieved by going through high school. But we hope that we may have somehow imparted an insight into life and the maturity to cope with the future. Through all the student-faculty work, discussions, arguments, decisions and actions, some idea of right and wrong, progress and actions, some have envolved for which you will be entemally grateful. Use your high school training proudly for a lot of work has been invested in it. 5 Gerald E. Nelson RICHARD PILCH SUBJECTS: Biology and P.E. The quality which was most respected by the ancient Greeks was that of beauty. They held the beauty of the human form in reverence, and bestowed honors upon those fortunate individuals who were deemed to be extra-ordinarily attractive in this respect. But, as time passed people became more conscious of other personal attributes. Personality, scholarship, and specific talents are often considered to be just as important as beauty in the royalty contests of today at LGHS. 65 HOMECOMING QUEEN KING VICTOR FIRE BEAR 66 THERESA SHAW SNO-BALL QUEEN KING DOUGLAS BOND 67 PATRICIA HULTS PROM QUEEN KING ROBERT BALL 68 Judy Hughes Delegate Donna Harris Alternate Thomas Whiteman Alternate GIRLS’ STATE Joyce Faught Delegate Raymond Irwin Alternate BOYS’ STATE 69 'VALEDICTORIAN” SALUTATORIAN” Gary Daniel Hope LEFT TO RIGHT: COO PEASE, AND SYLVIA BLACK BEN BRAZIER 71 PROFEftlONAL PAGE Doctor Miller--Dentist--Hardin Duncan-Dickinson-Inc.- -Sheridan Doctor RoJo--M.D.--Sheridan $PON$OR PAGE HARDIN Roy Chambers Cos Ricker's Drug Chuck Wagon Cafe Graham Stauntonene SHERIDAN Clover Leaf Bakery First National Bank Modern Shoe Western Wear LODGE GRASS Stevenson's AG Food Store) Lodge Grass Electric i- Stewart Mason' ' Curry Bros.
