STANDING, Bob Ball, Jim Brown, Ronnie Gibson, Gary Gordon, Terry Faught, Alberta Cowles, Phyllis Murdock, Patsy Hults. The student council is made up of the class presidents, and organization presidents, and representatives from each class and organization in high school. Problems and questions pertaining to the school as a whole are brought to the attention of the group for thought, discussion, and action. The student council decides upon the time and prices for school dances, and is always in charge of the Homecoming Parade. The president is elected, traditionally, from the Senior Class. The Vice President is always from the Junior Class, while the rest of the officers are elected from the group. “We Are Here to Add What We Can to Life, Not to Get What We Can from Life.” 8
