The student council consists of the president and representatives from each class and organization. The £ f Q f COUnCil council meets with Superintendent Moyer at stated times to work out solutions to school problems. They plan ways of improving conditions and arousing school spirit. School Board Education is a large business enterprise in every community. Together with the superintendent, board members co-ordinate the educational program so that it will operate effectively. Superintendent’s Message Superintendent E. L. Moyer B.A. and B.E. degrees from the University of Washington. M.E. degree from the Montana State University. Mr. Moyer is Superintendent of Lodge Grass Schools and is Senior class sponsor. School Spirit As an automobile is made up of such component parts as chassis, engine, wheels, and tires, so too is school. School spirit is not just the rah, rah of the pep section, the singing of the school song, or the noisy demonstrations that sometimes occur in an assembly. Rather, it is the sum total of sincere endeavors to do every possible thing to improve and uphold the school program educationally and socially so as to most adequately meet the needs of the community. This objective can only be reached by the co-operative efforts of students and faculty. If you have joined in this effort for the common good, your many years as an alumnus of Lodge Grass High School will be proud to see our school grow more adequate and stronger for future generations. 4
