Colors Flower BLUE AND SILVER BABY BLUE IRIS Mr. Moyer Mrs. Fitzgerald Mr. Jenkins Sponsors Class Motto Life is a picture, so paint it well. Class History We were forty-five in number when we entered the halls of L.G.H.S. in 1954 to begin our high school careers. This was an exciting year. We found the teachers capable and friendly. After the sophomores had initiated us in the proper fashion, we felt that we were a real part of the student body. In 1955 with forty-two in our sophomore class, our memorable events were initiating the incoming freshmen and sponsoring the high school rodeo. Regular studies, music, athletics and allied activities took up our time. By 1956, when we were juniors, we began to realize that our time in high school was getting shorter. We found that we were kept busy with our class work and outside activities. Our class play, Curtain Going Up, was a success. In the spring, we honored the seniors with a Banquet and Prom emphasizing the Hawaiian theme carried out in effective color schemes. At last in 1957, we have thirty-six seniors. Time is even more important as we have decisions to make concerning our futures. Now we are putting out the annual and are looking forward to senior activities which will leave lingering memories. We are awaiting the moment when we shall receive our diplomas, the climax of four years work. And, departing, leave behind us footprints on the sands of time.”
