SENIOR CLASS ON PARADE Out where the west begins. Out where the sunset ends. In a valley of a fast flowing river. Where our hearts will be forever. Where our lives have gone so fast. Nestles our little town of Lodge Grass. With heads held high and smiling faces. The Seniors of '51 go into the World to take their places. And here we would like to present each one. To show our talents and what we have done. Jack, broad shouldered, handsome and tall. One smile from him, and all the girls fall. Here we present our young Jack Chatham In football games he's up and at 'em. She's a girl with remarkable poise. A HIT SHE MAKES WITH BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS'. Ethel never gives up when things go wrong. She'll go through life, singing a song. HE'S AN UNPREDICTABLE LAD, Sometimes he's good and sometimes he's bad! On the basketball floor, he's rated pretty high. We're proud of you, Harley, and that's no lieI Harold nanto is smart as he can be when it comes to algebra and chemistry, HE’S USUALLY TEASING MOST OF THE TIME, But someday he'll quiet down and earn a dime. WE HAVE A GIRL WHO HAS PERSONALITY PLUS, She's a friend who means a lot to us. Barbara Nayes, willing to lend a hand. Will be a great scholar of our land. Paul Wiley, whom we all know. Has plenty of friends where'er he may go. He seems to be doing okay with his girl. But who wouldn't with that smart little curl. Donna Landon is another of our senior gang. At school and parties she's really a bang'. She's caused many a boy's heart to skip a beat. And we all think she is mighty sweet.

Always the pest and thetease of this group It's Dale Curry who's always in the soup, And this is every school girl's demand. Not to get a seat in front of him in band. So SHORT AND SLIGHT, WITH HER MERRY GRIN, Doris helps us all, through thick and thin. Brains like hers we can't surpass, She's the shortest of the Senior Class. He's quiet and shy with not much to say. But obstacles never block his way, Lyle Shick is swell on a basketball floor. Of fellows like him, we could use more. We've found Mary Ruth is the artist of our class. Her drawing and sketching not one can surpass. She's clever and skillful and full of fun. And when it comes to studies she's not a bit dumb. SO TALL AND SLIM WITH HIS MERRY GRIN, Doug helps us all through thick and thin. Character like his we can't surpass. He's the president of the Senior Class. We grow prouder still of Don Glumbik each day. We know he'll go places with his winning way. On the Football field he certainly shines. He'll surely win fame in some future lines. Our classmate. Jack Stevens, a winsome young lad. Always happy and cheerful, and never is bad, yes, we think he is simply 0.K. WE WOULDN'T TRADE HIM FOR ANYONE, ANYWAY. A WONDERFUL VOICE AND ALWAYS A SMILE, Don Foltz is really a friend that's worth while. Back to Wyola he'll go when this is all o'er Return to Lodge Grass? Oh no, nevermore! Mow you've met us, one and all. UNDER LIFE'S BURDENS WE SHALL NOT FALL, But we'll each shoulder our load And go singing our way down life's road. Paul Wiley Jack Chatham Doug. Cl an i n
