Top-hands were John Ball, Joy Bergquist, and Jerry Barnes. During the year many events were branded into our memories that included the initation, many parties, and “kangaroo” court held by the Seniors. Head wagon-boss was Miss Lix. The next fall round-up saw eight hands stray away. It was a big year for us buckarooes for we were to gain revenge on the new outfit of dudes that just drifted in by the brand of our initiation. Tall in the saddle were Joe Clawson, Alex Nayes, and Charlie Henson. It was rough riding that year for we-were not allowed to have many activities. However, at the end of the year we displayed our talents by winning the track meet on achievement day. Mrs. Stevenson was our boss. Having another round-up the next fall saw five bronco busters move on. All of us looked eagerly forward to the happenings of that year as we were mighty proud to put on “The Big Potato” and the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet with a Gypsy Scene. Because of the top outfit that we were, we won the volleyball tournament and once again the trackmeet. Managing affairs for the year was Mrs. Swanson. Well, at last and as usual, the big drive began when a dozen mighty foremen assembled for the last round-up that we would ever see again. Going forward with all our effort, the Little Horn Overflow took form. At Christmas time, a party was given to all our neighbors and even old St. Nick visited us. Swinging lariats were Alex Nayes, Charlie Henson, and Dorothy Calvetti. The Juniors honored us with a banquet and prom. Having night watch was Mrs. Barnett. Graduating May 25, we received our diplomas and were ready to go out in the world and face the elements. It really came with regret for we all felt that we had a lot of fun along with the work we did. 12 Class Will We, the Senior Class of nineteen hundred and fifty have come to the decision where it is necessary for us to will our outstanding abilities to the lower classmen. Of course, it is understood that the Seniors, due to our intelligence, should be honored and respected. We, the Senior Class will our outstanding character, manners and well-groomed appearance to all lower classmen. Also we will all the enjoyment we had during our four years of high school. Individually we will the following: “Punkie Harris wills her plump figure to Leona Waddle. “Swede Bergquist wills her ability not to gain weight to Donna Landon. “Jackson Talkington and “Margie Williams will their bashfulness and quiet nature to Carol and Janet Chatham and we hope they take advantage of it as we have. Honyak Nayes wills his ability to keep a straight face to Jack Stevens. “Willy La Forge wills her ability to draw to Shirley Iron Horse. “Floatus Clawson wills his ability to let girls chase him to Don Glumbik and hopes Don gets aa many thrills as he did. “Carrie Yellowtail wills her long hair to Helen Standish. “Chuck Henson wills his ability to get along with Mrs. Barnett, to Jack Ball. “Anets” Yellowtail wills her overalls to Barbara Nayes. “Bubbles Calvetti wills her height to Barbara White and hopes she will be able to use it. “Luscious” Pease wills his speed to Larry Talkington. 13 Class Prophecy WE, the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty, now look 10 years ahead to see where and how each of our former class members are. One day last week we hopped into our small helicopter, our first stop on our tour being Bozeman, where we glanced in on the college activities to find the one and only Professor Alexander Nayes, chief coach and Agricultural department head. Our next stop, of course, was at the Calgary Rodeo where they were featuring the world famous all around cowboy, Charlie Henson. My how Charlie can ride. Later in the afternoon of the same day we strolled down to the telegraph office to send a telegram to some of our fr:ends back home and who should we encounter, but Carl Pease, the owner and operator of the telegraph office. Once again we took to the sky; our destination. New York. As we began to land, a quick tail wind upturned our plane and we were rushed to the world famous Clawson Memorial Hospital where the Chief of Staff, Dr. Joseph Clawson M. D., cared for our minor wounds. We were kept in the hospital two days, and who should care for us, but our old pals Fray La Forge and Caroline Yellowtail, now registered nurses. The next day we were released from the hospital and we took a jaunt down town and visited Helen Harris in her famous dress shop. Here we saw Helen creating some of the latest world fashions. She in turn told us that Margie Williams, light weight woman boxer, is once again entering the ring that evening to defend her crown. Joe attended the fight with us leaving Jackie Talkington, professional baby sitter home with his five girls. The following day we again took to the sky, but this time on the world airlines for safety. We were honored with the presence of the famous singing stewardess, Anita Yellowtail. This ended our tour so we returned to Lodge Grass, Dorothy Calvetti had to return to her office in the Smith Building where she is a psychologist, and I, Joy Bergquist, had to return to teaching school after this most pleasant journey. 14 DZQUJKO QKQCO PAUL WILEY MARY RUTH WOLF DOUGLAS CLANIN ETHEL WILLIAMS CAMERA SHY DONALD GLUMBIK DORRIS CRISWELL BARBARA NAYES DONALD FOLTZ LYLE SHICK JACK CHATHAM MARTHA OVERTURF DALE CURRY JACK STEVENS LARRY TALKINGTON HARLEY HAMILTON DONNA LANDON HAROLD NANTO MARY STEVENS BETTY MOORE JEWEL MEDICINE HORSE HELEN STANDISH CAMERA SHY--Jack Ball, Charlie Fellow , Billy Shaw, Barbara White, Connie Yellowtail, Patricia Webb, Larry Whiteman, Kim Forman, Richard Blaine, Billy Gross, Carole l anier.
