Personnel, People Behind the Time lu the olliee of the superintendent, we dis- rover three qualified and efheient workers. lklrs. Charity 'l'hompson. senior clerk. is responsible lor all student locker keys. the switeh board. in- eoming and outgoing mail. typing. and dieta- tion. She describes her work as interesting. hlrs. Lois Nlanthey is well known to the stu- dent body because of ber work in the book store. She handles this taxing job eapably. Mrs. Man- they is also in Charge ol the aetiyity funds wbieb is a tremendous job. blrs. Esther Geddes, secretary to Dr. Blatnik. also does all ol the sehoolls bookkeeping. Mrs. Geddes said that she loves her work. She surely must sinee all of the many problems that Come her way are dealt with by using patience and understanding. Room Qll or more popularly known as the otliee is under the eapable direction of Miss lN1argaret Shepherd. She is probably the most well-known member of the sehool personnel because of ber work with absentee slips. She keeps all ol' the student attendanee and aea- clemie records. From Miss Slll'I.Jllt'l'Cl,S office also are sent all ol the transcripts to colleges and employers. lWrs. Ayers is stationed on the third floor in a private olliee. A tremendous amount of re- sponsibility is attached to her job in that she is the elerk to the board of education. Her many duties include: making out the payroll, keeping all board minutes, paying the bills whifh the sehool ineurs, bookkeeping for the treasurer of distriet 205, and all ol the other incidental duties required by the members of the board.
