Guiding the hands of our School Clock was our very capable superintendent, Mr. Smith, who has been Superintendent of the Lockport Township High School for the past twentyftwo years. While attending McMaistcr University in Hamilton, Ontario, he was called to service in World War I after which he continued his education at the University of Chicago, Chi' eago, Illinois. Mr. Smith is a past President of the North' eastern Division of the Illinois Education As' sociation, and of the Will County Superinf tcndents' and Principals' Association. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Illinois Association for the Crippled, and Vice President of the Will County Tubercuf losis Association. Having been so active in Illinois Education, Mr. Smith has received the honor of being included in Whos Who in American Edueaf tion, and Whos Who in the Ccntral Statesf' His most enjoyable hobbies arc golf and ocean fishing. For all students associated with L. T. H. S.. Superintendent Smith is a guiding hand in preparing them for thc clock of life they later face.
