THE Sl Illlt MASS CLASS OFFICERS Iohn Kesser President Dean Sterling Vice President Arthur Pius Secretary Walter Munch Treasurer . l SENIOR CLASS HISTCRY ln September l938, we entered L. T. l-l. S. as a bewildered group ot treshmen, and are coming out this year, hoping to have gained some knowledge. During these tour years we chose Grace Claussen, Amil Ajamie, Phyllis Morey, and lohn Kesser, presidentsp Andy Ladd, Clifford lohnson, lune Lynn, and Dean Sterling, vicef presidents: tune Lynn, Dean Sterling, lohn Kesser, and Arthur Pius, secretariesg and Rich- ard Stamm, Phyllis Morey, Williarri Twichell, and Walter Munch, treasurers. The activities ot our first two years were quite limited, but when we became upper classmen our social schedule included the iunior play, junior prom, junior-senior parties, and the senior picnic. Our senior year has added many new and interesting things, as we have a swimming pool, bowling clubs, our senior play, The Bashtul Bachelor, the TIMES and LOCK staffs, our parties, and the junior prom. Soon we will be leaving L. T. H. S, and hope that every one ot our classmates will tind future success.

lEAIlI G, Mr. Skamser and Mr. Paul White share the honor ot teaching the greatest num- ber of subjects. We have no doubt that from them we learned something new each day. ln Mr. Stephenson's history classes we have had the opportunity of fighting more battles than ever. If we had stopped lighting aiter the Revolution, our task would have been much easier. Mr. Sterling proved to many ot us that it is possible to make clever articles out of trees. Mr. Weston has accomplished a mod- ern miracle this past year. He found that precious electron that was lost some time ago. We hope that the mechanics down in Mr. H. A. White's auto shop have iig- ured out a way for our old jalopies to run another ten years or so. Harold P. Skamser Iames M. Stephenson B.S. Ye Aulde Willie We of the graduating class of the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred cmd forty-two, of Lockport Township High School do hereby decree that the provisions supplied in this will shall be effected immediately following the dismissal of the class. We, being supposedly sound of mind and sound of body, and hereby stating that we are under no duress, provide for this aulde Willie the following provisions, to wit: Article I To the faculty-in return for the detentions and help they gave us, a little peace. Article ll To the juniors--our very high scholastic records and our positions on the Times and Lock . Article Ill To anyone else in the school, because they don't matter anyway, we, the tall and short, thin and fat, handsome and ugly, do leave . . . our athletic ability and our awkwardness, our sense of humor and sometimes our obvious lack of a sense of humor, our seats in the as- sembly hall and standing room at football games, our grins and our groans, our smiles and our frowns, our A's and our F's, our white slips and our blue, and anything else that doesn't cost us a thing. Class Prophecy Looking ten years hence, we see some of our boys as veterans of World War II, and taking a peek into a history book, we see that the Japanese population has decreased from 135 million to 135 land they are under lock and keyl. Many of our girls are nurses, school teachers, dress designers and house wives. Strange creatures these girls, some are still girls. We see all our old classmates flying around in convertible coupe airplanes, and if you think women drivers are bad you should see women pilots! Hollywood is over-run with Lockport talent and several graduates have won Academy Awards. However, the larger proportions of our class do not have their Oscars. A few of our classmates are still continuing their education-their 14th year in L. T. H. S. With these pleasant glances into the future, we end our prophecy with the following brainstorm: 11 We ain't braggin' But it's understood Whatever we did We did it good! Attested and sealed MCMXLII.
