F531 BOARD OF EDUCATION Nine public-spirited Loclcportians are the memf bers ot the Board ot Education ot the Lockport Public School System, Democratically elected tor tive-year terms, the Board meets at least once a month to assist in solving problems which arise in the schools. The Boards chiet responsibility is to provide the schools with the tools necessary to maintain high educational standards. The scene ot most ot its activities is the Board ot Education Adminisf tration Building at 60 Chestnut Street. SUPERINTENDENT Mr. George F. Jammer, Superintendent ot Schools, etticiently guides the schools ot Loclc port. As chiet administrator, he sees to it that the schools operate in the best interests ot students and the community.
