ggi, We know that everyone in Lockport is eager to give the young people of the community the finest education possible. To do this, OUR SCHOOLS must be such that all children are given facilities that will help to make for the most effective teaching. Within the past twenty years we have made great strides in our building pro- gram. With the four elementary schools and the two junior high schools, children through the ninth grade are provided for very well. However, our program must also consider the tenth through the twelfth grades. The Board of Education has studied the problem of a new senior high school for some time. Through this booklet, it hopes to show the citizens of Lockport: That there is a desperate need for a new school. That the proposed building is right for Lockport.
