New this year to Loara ' s campus was the Saxons for a Safe and Sober Society. The lofty objectives of this austere organization center around the goal of a drug-free soci- ety. To achieve this goal, the club used such tactics as increasing awareness of anti-drug activities and coping strategies for those who are addicted to drugs or alcohol. The club made known other people who are against drugs and alcohol by means of meetings, speakers, and written materials. The founding president of the club was Ja- mie Potter who was aided by advisor Cora Johnson. Members this year included Tammy Pigmon, Michelle Garrow, Andrea Waters, Yvette Mikina, Rhonda Washburn, and Chris Peterson. The team watches on intently as Tarman answers a question during a practice game against the school. 2. With a mass firing of neurons in his cranium. In Sik remembers Euclid ' s algorithm 3 Scott and Chris look on with amazement as Rich ard scores yet another point against Huntington Beach ' s team. 4. Showing no mercy.
