146 Room 13. The room ap- peared to be nothing more than a photography room with millions of yearbooks stacked around. But during sixth period, incredible transforma- tions took place. Pencils scratched furiously on papers, typewriters clicked, people bus- tled in and out constantly, at- tempting to meet the fast-ap- proaching deadlines. These were the sights and sounds of this year ' s Seaxe staff hard at work. These were the people responsi- ble to create this gosh darn good-looking book. The yearbook was run by sev- en returning editors. By their ex- ample, they encouraged each member of the staff to meet deadlines with quality work. These seven editors (Lizzie Myers, Kari Snelling, Esther Park, Jennifer Bailey, Sara Pai, Billy Kang, James Lim) each had sep- arate assignments as well as de- signing the cover and the many details involved in the look of the book. However, it was each and everyone ' s responsibility to make layouts, write copy, and take photographs, and interview hun- dreds of Saxons. The Seaxe was once again un- der the guidance of Mr. Larry Kle- vos. Staying after school and opening weekend workshops, he helped and directed this year ' s hard-working, but fun-loving staff.
