Throughout the year during sixth period, both teams changed into their practice clothes and ran through their mixed cheer and song competition routines. And on game days, the girls ran through game actions to refresh their memories. Sometimes the girls ' practices lasted after every- one else had gone home. But that wasn ' t all. During the sum- mer and during cheerleading camp in late August, the girls be- came very accomplished at tack- ling new cheers and dances in a very short amount of time. We should be proud of our Frosh Soph and J.V. Pep Squad teams for excelling in a sport tha t re- quires time, strength, coordina- tion, and patience. F S AND J.V. SONG CHEER INSPIRE SAXONS four
