Together they all worked to give our pep assemblies and pep rallies a feeling of excitement. At games they cheered our teams, whether they won or lost. This past summer, Holly and ■ Stephanie attended USA camp and returned with a spirit stick, (an award for their hard work), a special unity medal for working together, and two superiors in judging. Holly is quoted as say- ing, I feel being a mascot dis- plays my school spirit, and I have a lot of fun doing it, too! Nicole ' s goal as pep commis- sioner was to get as many people as possible involved and full of spirit. She also tried to unify the band and the cheerleaders by leading cheers to the band ' s pep music. To sum it up, all three tal- ented girls put their hearts into bringing Loara more spirit, pride, and unity, and they did an excel- lent job. three NICOLE, STEPHANIE, AND HOLLY GENERATE SPIRIT

During the sum- mer and during cheerleading camp in late August, the girls be- came very accomplished at tack- ling new cheers and dances in a very short amount of time. We should be proud of our Frosh Soph and J.V. Pep Squad teams for excelling in a sport tha t re- quires time, strength, coordina- tion, and patience. F S AND J.V. SONG CHEER INSPIRE SAXONS four
