104 F S SQUADS EXHIBIT SKILL AND GRIT The 1988-89 Fresh- man Basketball Team intimated even the best in the Empire League. Under their new coach, Jaime Anderson, the members on the team were able to contribute their own attributes to make this season an excep- tional one. Some ot the leading players on the team were Ron Harris, who led in assists; Pete Gonzalez, who was the top scorer on the team; and Drew Hubbard, whose swiftness and height the team greatly depended on. This young team showed perseverance and grit, making this year sen- sational. Headed by the new coach, Chuck Livesay, the Sophomore basketball team had a flourishing year. The team was led by team captains John Carr, who had the most rebounds, and Glen Maggio. Mike Klean proved to be an out- standing shooter for the team. The players showed an abundance of character and will — characteristics needed to make a winning team. four
