THE 1987 SOPHOMORE FOOT- BALL TEAM FINISHED THE SEA- SON WITH 9 WINS, AND ONLY 1 LOSS. THEY DOMINATED THE EMPIRE LEAGUE. THE DEFENSE, HOLDING TRADITION, ALLOWED ONLY 1 1 POINTS TO BE SCORED ON THEM, AND THE OFFENSE AVERAGED ABOUT 25 POINTS PER GAME. WINNING THE SOPHOMORE LEAGUE TITLE WAS TRULY A TEAM EFFORT. EACH WEEK THE TEAM IMPROVED IN ALL PHASES OF THE GAME. EVERY MEMBER CONTRIBUTED GREATLY TO TEAM SUCCESSES. HEAD COACH CHUCK HINMAN DID A SUPER JOB IN PREPARING THIS GROUP.
