LETTERMEN ' S CLUB AND CLOSE-UP SHINE FROM CALIFORNIA TO D.C. THIS IS THE LETTERMEN ' S SECOND YEAR AS A CLUB. THE CLUB IS ORGA- NIZED AND LED BY COACHES MOORE AND DEFRIES. THE CLUB HAD OVER 30 MEMBERS. ONLY MALE AND FEMALE VARSITY LETTERMEN ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP. THE PURPOSE OF THE LETTERMEN ' S CLUB IS TO PROMOTE SCHOOL SPIRIT, TO HELP THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT TO RAISE MONEY, AND TO UNITE STUDENTS WHO HAVE A COM- MON BOND.
