THE STAFF LEARNED EVERYTHING ABOUT RETAIL STORE OP- ERATION FOR FAST FOOD AND GENERAL MERCHANDISE BY RUNNING THE LHS STUDENT STORE THEMSELVES. WITH IN- STRUCTION FROM THEIR ADVISOR, JOE SMITH, THE STUDENTS WERE BUSY WITH STOCKING, TAKING INVENTORY, JAND PROVIDING EFFICIENT SERVICE TO LOARA. THE STUDENT STORE STAFF HAS MANY RESPONSIBILITIES. THE MAN- AGER AND ASSISTANTS ARE RESPON- SIBLE FOR PROFITABILITY BECAUSE THEY MAKE ALL DECISIONS ABOUT THE STORE. SENIOR MANAGER, BECKY EDMONDS, COMMENTED, OUR GOAL IS TO RUN A MORE ORGA- NIZED, EFFICIENT, AND PRODUCTIVE STORE WITH HOPES OF MAKING MORE PROFIT THAN LAST YEAR.
