THE SQUAD CAN CERTAINLY BE PRAISED FOR THEIR STRONG SENSE OF UNITY. THERE WERE MANY CHANCES FOR INDIVIDUALS TO RE- CEIVE SPECIAL PRAISE, BUT THE GIRLS KNEW THAT THEY COULD BEST EXCEL AS A CLOSE-KNIT UNIT. THEY ROSE TO THE TOP AS A TEAM! CO-CAPTAIN STACY SCHUERING REMARKED, I BE- LIEVE IF A SQUAD HAS THE DETERMI- NATION TO BE THE BEST, THEY CAN BE THE BEST! VARSITY CHEER HAD THAT DETERMINATION, AND WE DID BECOME THE BEST EVER! FELLOW CO-CAPTAIN NICOLE CONNER ALSO HAD SOME THOUGHTFUL WORDS TO SAY: WE ALL HAD A COMMON GOAL — TO BE SPIR- ITED, SUPPORT OUR TEAMS, AND STRIVE FOR 1. WE SUCCEEDED! CHEERING WAS AN EXPERIENCE WE ' LL NEVER FORGET!! THE GIRLS WERE READY AND WAIT- ING FOR AN EVENTFUL YEAR. ALL MAINTAINED CHEERY ATTITUDES. SPIRIT AND EXCITEMENT REACHED AN ALL-TIME HIGH!
