JV BASEBALL DISPLAYS GREAT TECHNIQUE AND SKILL! . .- ' i IN MARCH, COACH MACDONALD AND COACH GREENLY PREDICTED A VERY SUCCESSFUL SEASON FOR THE 1988 JV BASEBALL TEAM. DEFENSE WILL BE THE KEY TO OUR SUCCESS THIS YEAR, SAID COACH MACDONALD. WITH THE ADDITION OF JUNIOR RIGHT-HANDER MATT BAKER AND SOPHOMORE DAMON RIDDLE, THE SAXONS HAD A STRONG PITCHING STAFF. OFFENSIVELY, THE TEAM WAS LED BY JUNIORS RON MA- ZUR, JEFF GORDON, AND SOPHOMORE CZACH HALLOCK. DAVID JENNER, EL- LICK HSU, AND BRETT BANTA PROVIDED THE SPEED THAT WAS A KEY FACTOR OF THE TEAM ' S OFFENSIVE SUCCESS.
