ten SMASH! THE SPRING SEASON BRINGS, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THE ARRIVAL OF BOYS' TENNIS. WE ALL KNOW HOW PROMISING THE VARSITY TEAM HAS BEEN IN PAST YEARS, BUT THIS YEAR THEY ACHIEVED THEIR POTENTIAL. THE TEAM WAS LEAD BY RETURNING MEM- BERS CAMERON DARWEESH, DAVID KNOCH, IONG-HYUN IOE, CHRIS HUICO- CHEA, ARA AMERKHANIAN, IEEE IACOB- SON, VICTOR KUO, AND COMPLEMENT- ED BY NEW MEMBERS PAUL CHEN, !,,,,,,, eight YOUNG CHUNG, AND TED LEE. CAPTAIN CAMERON DARWEESI-I SAID, THE TEAM LIVED UP TO ITS POTENTIAL AND PER- FORMED ADMIRABLY ALL YEAR. HE FUR- THER STATED, THE TEAM WAS ONE TO BE RECKONED WITH ALL YEAR AND BY ALL OTHER TEAMS. THE I.V. AND FXS TEAMS, LEAD BY COACH IOHN KNOCH, DISPLAYED MUCH TALENT, PEREECTING BASIC SKILLS, RUN- NING FOR ENDURANCE AND STRENGTH, AND DRILLS ON THE BASIC STROKES. eleven COACH KNOCH SAID, I FEEL THAT THIS YEAR'S I.V. TEAM HAS ENOUGH POTEN- TIAL TO BE THE BEST IN THEYLEAGUEX' ALTHOUGH THE TEAM DID NOT HAVE A ONE STAND-OUT PLAYER, EVERYONE WORKED HARD AS A TEAM TO DO HIS BEST.
