THE YEAR WAS ESPECIALLY GOOD CONSIDERING THE DRILL TEAM CONSISTED OF TEN RE- TURNING MEMBERS AND FOURTEEN NEW GIRLS. THE COMPETITIONS WERE A GREAT SUCCESS FOR ALL. THE DRILL TEAM TOOK FIRST PLACE TROPHIES AT MOUNT CARMEL AND SAVANA. AT SIL- VERADO AND MISSION VIEIO THE GIRLS TOOK THE SWEEP- STAKE TROPHIES. THE HARD WORK SURE PAID OFF. EVEN THE FORTY HOURS A WEEK. GETTING UP AT 5:00 A.M. TO GO TO PRACTICE AND STAY- ING AFTER SCHOOL TO PRAC- TICE AND REHEARSE TILL 5:00 P.M. WERE DAILY EVENTS.
