LOARA'S CHOIRS: LESS NS , ga bmw- wx., i , E ui tive Wwe SGVGH six , X2 'Vfftff taxi? eiq ht HARMONY THE 1986-87 CHORAL DEPARTMENT WAS FULL OF SPIRIT AND PRIDE! CONCERT CHOIR, WITH 55 MEMBERS, WAS THE LARGEST CHOIR AND PERFORMED IN SEVERAL FESTIVALS AND CONCERTS DURING THE YEAR. AFTER A TWO- YEAR ABSENCE, THE WOMENS ENSEMBLE RE- TURNED TO LOARA. THESE TWENTY GIRLS HAD MANY SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCES. IAZZ CHOIR, SAXON SENSATION, WAS BRAND NEW TO LOARA, PERFORMING POP, ROCK, AND IAZZ MUSIC. ALL OF THE GROUPS HAD FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FOR CON- CERTS AND OUTFITS. A SPRING SAN DIEGO TRIP WAS ONE OF THE MANY FIELD TRIPS PLANNED. ALL THE CHOIRS BEGAN THEIR PER- FORMANCES WITH THE NOVEMBER CONCERT IN THE AUDITORIUM, FOLLOWED BY THE DE- CEMBER CHRISTMAS CONCERT, AND FINISHED THE YEAR OFF WITH THE ANNUAL SPRING ROSES CONCERT IN IUNE. MR. TUTTLE'S FIRST FULL YEAR AT LOARA HAS SEEN THE DEPARTMENT GROW IN SIZE AND STATURE. THE CHOIR'S PROGRESS THROUGHOUT THE 1986-87 YEAR WAS TREMENDOUS. THEY IM- PROVED THEIR SINGING SKILLS, AND DEDI- CATED THEMSELVES TO BECOMING ONE OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS GROUPS ON CAM- PUS. 1. Elie 1986-87 Loara High School Womens Ensem- e. 2.
