YES, FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO IUST WERENT PAYING AT- TENTION, MORE SPIRIT FEELS GREAT? WAS THE THEME OF THIS YEARS ASB CABINET. THIS YEARS GROUP CONSISTED OF NINETEEN MEMBERS, EACH OF THEM AS BRIGHT AND AS EN- THUSIASTIC AS THE NEXT. TO- GETHER, THEY GAVE A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT TO SPREAD ENTHUSIASM THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL. THE 1986-87 ASB CABINET WAS CONSTANTLY ON THE MOVE. THESE DEDICATED SAX- ONS WERE ALWAYS BUSY, PUT- TING ON FUN DRESS-UP DAYS AND ACTIVITIES, AS WELL AS ORGANIZING OUTSTANDING ASSEMBLIES. THESE CON- CERNED STUDENTS ALSO WORKED VERY HARD TO ORGA- NIZE STUDENT AWARENESS WEEKS, SUCH AS AN INFORMA- TIVE ANTI-DRUG WEEK IN ADDI- TION TO THE ANNUAL CHARITY WEEK. ALL IN ALL, THIS YEAR'S ASB CABINET DID A GREAT IOB OF CONTINUING THE SAXON TRA- DITION OF GREATNESS WHILE LEADING LOARA TO UMORE SPIRIT. OHS I I.. I .... I 0 V three

WHAT WOULD A YEARBOOK BE WITHOUT A STAFF TO PRODUCE IT? NOT TO WORRY. THIS YEAR, AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT, WE HAD AN OUT- STANDING STAFF. THIS STAFF WAS A COMBINATION OF TALENTED INDIVI- DUALS, INCLUDING EDITORS SONA SHUBASH, IRENE PAI, KIM CLINE, DARYN SPRUILL, AND DONNA IA- COBSON. THE PHOTOGRAPHIC DIC- TATOR-GENIUS ALBERT FRISKE AND HIS ASSISTANT-GENIUS MICHAEL WALLACE EACH PLAYED A MORE THAN SMALL PART IN THIS PRODUC- TION. THE STAFF WAS LED BY OUR COURAGEOUSLY RETURNING ADVI- SOR, THE ONE, AND PERHAPS THE ONLY, LARRY D. CAS IN DOUGLASD KLEVOS. COMBINING ORGANIZA- TION AND ENCOURAGEMENT, MR. KLEVOS HEADED THIS GROUP OF HARD WORKING INDIVIDUALS IN THE PRODUCTION OF AN OUTSTANDING YEARBOOK. THOUSANDS OF PHO- TOGRAPHS WERE SHOT, DOZENS OF INTERVIEWS WERE CONDUCTED, AND HOURS OF RESEARCH AND WRITING WERE NECESSARY FOUN- DATIONS FOR THE YEARBOOK. THESE ELEMENTS WERE SIZED, CUT, TAGGED, AND BAGGED. THE DEAD- LINES WERE TRYING, THE LATE NIGHTS TIRING, BUT WITH DETERMI- NATION THE IOB WAS COMPLETED . . . ALL ON TIME. l. Doris, Sara, and Larry look over a layout. 2. Congratulations for a iob well done. 3. Deadline tension seems to affect Diane and Leah. 4. Erika takes a sigh of relief as she finishes in time for the deadline. 5. Sylvia, Iill, and Irene take time out for a favorite pastime, Froqqer. 6. The book, the legend, the staff. . Tool makes the final adlustments in his page. B. loff, David, and Sunqil combine talent and effi- ciency to finish their layout. 9. Adrianne and Anna pause for a moment to re- view their page. IO. Kim and Sara, working on their layout, pause momentarily to show an ear-to-ear-to-ear-to-ear smile. 7 A -lfmhgx - .... -Q5-,M N ., ' .5 . ..... .. Tliff' ll ix I I
