MOST OF THE CONCEPTS ARE STILL THE SAME, BUT THE BOYS WORKED TOGETH- ER FOR THE FIRST TIME IMPROVING THEIR BASIC SKILLS. PRACTICING FOR FIFTEEN HOURS A WEEK, THEY CONCENTRATED ON DEFENSIVE GAME SITUATIONS, AND BETTER OFFENSIVE TECHNIQUES. WITH THE COACHING OF BOB BLANE TON, THE FRESHMEN WERE GIVEN THE DIRECTION AND MOTIVATION THEY NEEDED TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL ATH- LETES. ,f ,,

MANY OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE AREA DO NOT HAVE FRESHMAN TEAMS, THEREFORE, PLAYERS AT LOARA ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY AN ADDITIONAL YEAR.
