THE TEAM ENDURED HOURS OF INTENSE CONDITIONING SIX DAYS A WEEK DURING THE PRE-SEASON ALONG WITH DAILY MEETINGS TO PLOT STRATEGIES. TO INCREASE THE AGILITY AND STAMINA OF THE PLA YERS, PRACTICES INCLUDED AEROBIC51 RUNNING, AND SCRIMMAGES AFTER THE WEEKS OF PRACTICE THE TEAM WAS WELL PREPARED FOR THE SEASON WINNING THEIR FIRST THREE GAMES AGAINST WESTERN ANAHEIM AND GARDEN GROVE THE REST OF THE SEASON CONTINUED IN MUCH THE SAME MANNER AS THE FIGHTING SAXONS ACHIEVED MANY VICTORIES WITH THE ESSENTIAL HELP OF COACH HERB HILL. OUTSTANDING PLAYERS, ACCORDING TO COACH HILL, WERE CHRIS WRIGHT WADE CLESTER JOHN MON- TOYA, MIKE GOLIA, AND KEVIN HAMPTON THE ENTIRE TEAM WORKED AS A DRIVING FORCE TOWARD THE ULTIMATE GOAL - BEING THE BEST J.
