CONSISTING OE APPROXIMA TELYEORT Y MEMBERS THE CLUB WAS SPONSORED BY SPANISH TEACHER MISS RHONDA WARD. IN ADDITION TO HER USUAL CLASSES MISS WARD DE VOTED COUNTLESS HOURS OE HER TIME TO INSURE THE SUCCESS OE THE CLUB. THE CLUB WAS LED BY THE 1985-86 OEEI- CERS.' PRESIDENT TRICIA CREASON VICE-PRESI- DENT SHERRY RAUDABAUGI-L SECRETARY STEPH- ANIE BAKER AND TREASURER CAMERON DAR- WEESH THE MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF THE YEAR INCLUD- ED WATCHING A SPANISH BALLET EOLKLORICO AND GOING OUT TO DINNER AT MORENO'S, A MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN ORANGE THE EOOD WAS TAS TY AND EVERYONE ENIOYED LISTENING AND DANCING TO THE MARIACHIS. THE HIGH- LIGHT OE THE EVENING CAME WHEN ONE OE THE MARIACHIS SANG A LOVE BALLAD TO SENORITA WARD. I. The 1985-86 Spanish club members. 2. Smile, Steve, you're on candid camera! 3. I ' f fry. FOR STUDENTS WHO ENJOY THE PEACE OF THE MOUN- TAINS, THE SKI CLUB IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL. COMPOSED OF LOARA'S SKI ENTHUSIASTS, THE CLUB MAKES MANY TRIPS AVAILABLE TO ALL INTER- ESTED STUDENTS. THERE ARE SEVERAL ONE-DAY TRIPS TO NEARBY MOUNTAINS, ALONG WITH A FEW LARGER TRIPS TO SUCH PLACES AS UTAH AND COLORADO. THE CLUB'S ADVISOR, URSULA BROWN WAS OUOTED AS SAYING, THE CLUB MEMBERS REALL YHA VE A LOT OF FUN ON THE TRIPS WITH SKIERS FROM OTHER SCHOOLS. THE MEMBERS OF THE AUTO CLUB, HOWEVER DO NOT MEE TA WAY FROM SCHOOL. CONGREGA TING DURING THIRD AND FOURTH PERIOD, THE CLUB CONSISTS OF ALL AD- VANCED AUTO SHOP STUDENTS, AND THEY SPEND THEIR TIME S TUDYING THE MYSTERIES OF THE AUTOMOBILE LEARNING HOW TO REPAIR AND CARE FOR THEIR CARS, THE MEMBERS OF THE AUTO CLUB ARE LED BY THEIR ADVISOR, PAUL THOMPSON WHO ALSO TEACHES OTHER LEVELS OF AUTO SHOP SO, WITH THE SKI CLUB RACING DOWN THE SLOPES AND THE AUTO CLUB RACING IN THE STREETS THESE TWO CLUBS ARE SPEEDING WITH ENTHUSIASM TOWARD PERFEC- TION IN THEIR PAS TIMES. 1. The 1985-.7986 Ski Club. 2. Damon Roberson, in his cool sunglasses and slfi hat, daydreams about the next trip to the mountains. 3. Ursula Brown, advisor of the Slfi Club, sometimes shows shi movies at club meetings to help members improve their techniques. 4. James Newell pauses in his worlr in auto shop to in vesti- gate an interruption in his class. 5. Paul Thompson, the advisor of the Auto Club, helps his students in their 'hands-on worlf on a daily basis. 6. Attempting to repair a VW BL Martin Hoesli is intent on hnding the problem in the engine.
