THE HOUSE OF REPS. PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE ON CAMPUS. IT IS UP TO THE REPS. TO INFORM STUDENTS ABOUT EVENTS AND ISSUES ON CAMPUS. IN JANUARY THE HOUSE OF REPS. PRESENTED WIN- TER FORMAL. JUNIOR STA TESMEN OF AMERICA IS A CLUB THAT GETS TOGETHER WITH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ALL OVER THE SOUTHLAND TO DISCUSS CURRENT POLITI- CAL EVENTS. JS.A. IS A COMPLETELYSTUDENT-RUN ORGANIZATION WITH ITS OWN GOVERNOR AND MA Y- OR THE OBJECT OF JS.A. IS TO HELP HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO BECOME MORE INVOLVED AND MORE AWARE OF GOINGS ON IN THE EVERYDAY WORLD. JS.A. ALLOWS ITS MEMBERS TO MEET HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM ALL OVER CALIFORNIA. THEY HAD TWO MAJOR CONFERENCES THIS YEAR AND SPENTA WEEKEND IN MAYAT THE IRVINE HIL TON ATA CON- VENTION AL THOUGH THE MAIN POINT OF JSA. IS POLITICAL, IT'SA CLUB THATREALL YKNOWS HOW TO HAVE FUN 1.
