iw CHARITY WEEK THIS YEAR DISPLAYED LOARA SAXONS' SCHOOL ENTHUSIASM PARTICIPATION AND PRIDE THE ACTIVITIES MADE THE WHOLE WEEK WORTHWHILE EVEN THOUGH SOME STU- DENTS HAD TESTS ALL WEEK AND HOMEWORK UNTIL MIDNIGHT IT DIDN'T SEEM TO HINDER THE SPIRIT OF INVOLVED LOARA SAXONS. THE CHAR- ITY DRIVE WAS A EUN-PACKED THRILLING AD- VENTURE THROUGH THE ACTIVITIES OF OUR OWN SCHOOL. THE PRIME GOAL OF CHARITY WEEK WAS TO RAISE S1986 FOR THE ORANGE WOOD HOME AND TO HAVE A LOT OE FUN WHILE DOING IT THE LUNCHTIME ACTIVITIES INCLUDED THE SPONGE THROW MR. SEXY LEGS CONTEST LIMBO CON- TEST THE BUY A BUDDY SALE DUNKING BOOTH AND CLASS COMPETITIONS. THE ACTIVITIES ALSO ENABLED STUDENTS TO RE VEAL THEIR TRUE SEL VES WITH THE VARIOUS AND HUMOROUS DRESS-UP DA YS HELD DURING THE WEEK. MONDAY WAS HAWAIIAN DAY' TUES- DAY 5O'S DA Y' WEDNESDAY M 'A, S,'?H DAY' THURSDAY BANDANA DA Y' AND FINALLY ERI- DAY TOURIST DAY STORIES ABOUT VAMPIRE NURSES, ELEPHANT SIZED HYPODERMIC NEEDLES AND BLOOD EX- TRACTION BY USE OE LEECHES DID NOT INTIMI- DATE LOARA STUDENTS. THEY GA VE 107 PINTS OE BLOOD. LOARA STUDENTS CONTINUED THE SAXON TRADITION OI-' HELPING OTHERS. 1. Charity WeeIr's calender of events. Z Thenta Chao pegs another victim in the sponge throw. 3.
