WINTER FORMAL WAS HELD AT THE S TARDUST IN FULLERTON AND WAS SPONSORED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. KERI OLDENBERN WHO HEADED THE SCHOOL FUNCTION TOOK GREAT PAINS TO MAKE THE EVENING MEMORA- BLE THE BALLROOM WAS LA VISHLY DECORATED WITH BRIGHTL Y COLORED BALLOONS AND LIGHTS THAT SURROUNDED THE DANCERS AND MIN- GLERS ALIKE MUSIC WAS PROVIDED BY SWEDISH E GIL, THE DEEIAYFROM KROO. AND TO KEEP THE FESTIVI- TIES GOING IN HIGH GEAR BEFORE THE PRESEN- TATION OF THE WINTER FORMAL KING, QUEEN AND THE ROYAL COURT A DANCING CONTEST WAS HELD WITH BLANCMANGE TICKETS AS PRIZES. THE EVENING ENDED AT T WEL VE MID- NIGHT AND THOUGH EVERYONE WISHED THAT IT COULD LAST FOREVER THE MEMORIES OF THIS EVENING WILL BE E TERNALLYEMBEDDED IN ALL THE MINDS OF THOSE WHO AT TENDED. 1. THE LOARA CHAMBER SINGERS CONSISTS OE SPECIAL PEOPLE WHO ARE DEDICATED TO DOING THEIR BEST IN ALL THAT THEY DO. THEY ARE CLOSEL YKNIT AND ENJOY PERFORMING EOR OTH- ERS. THIS YEAR'S CHAMBER SINGERS WAS NO DIE- EERENT THE 1985-86 CHAMBER SINGERS WAS SMALLER THAN THOSE IN THE PAST CONSISTING OF ONLY T WENTY MEMBERS. THE GROUP WAS HEADED BY ALLEN SASSER PRESIDENT' SCOT THEISMEYER VICE PRESIDENT' BARBIE BENDER SECRETARY' TIFFANYDA VIS TREASURER' AND DE- ANNA WALTON AS THE LIBRARIAN. THOUGH THIS YEAR'S GROUP WAS SMALLER THAN THOSE BEFORE THEIR TALENTS AND ORGA- NIZATION SET THEM FAR ABOVE THE OTHERS. THE CHAMBER SINGERS WERE ALSO ONE OE THE MOS TAC TIVE GROUPS ON THE CAMPUS. THEY SANG ATPARTIES CONVENTIONS, AND THE OKTO- BEREES T A NE W SENSA TION WHICH WAS STARTED THIS YEAR THE YALSO SANG FORA CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION AT DISNEYLAND AND, OE COURSE THE TRADITIONAL ROSES AT THE END OF THE YEAR J. Demonstrating the comradehf feelings between teacher and student is Nffan y Da vis and Mrs. Freiman. 3, During fourth period the group did singing exercises and also rehearsed for future events. 4.
