HOMECOMING WEEK STARTED WITH AN UNUSUAL BANG THIS YEAR MONDAY FOURTH PERIOD THE EN- TIRE SENIOR CLASS SAT ON THE GRASS IN FRONT OF THE AUDITORIUM TO HA VE THEIR PICTURE TAKEN IT WAS A NEW AND EXCITING EXPERIENCE FOR ALL. SCHOOL SPIRIT ABOUNDED THROUGHOUT THE EN- NRE HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK. MANY OF THE STU- 'DENTS AND FACULTY PARTICIPA TED IN THE COLORFUL DRESS-UP DAYS MONDA Y FEA TURED HA TAND SHADES DAY' TUESDAY LITTLE KIDS DAY' WEDNESDAY NERD DAY' THURSDAY FIFTIES DAY ON FRIDAY EVERYONE WORE RED AND GOLD FORTHE BIG HOMECOMING ASSEMBLY VOLUNTEERS WERE ABUNDANT FOR THE LUNCH- HMEACTIWHES. SPECIAL INTEREST WAS TAKEN IN THE TRICYCLE SACK AND CROSS COUNTRY SKI RACES BY SPIRITED SAXONS WHO WERE EAGER TO WN SPIRIT POINTS THE CLASS COMPETITIONS WERE THE HIGH- LIGHT OF EACH DAY FRIDAY WAS THE BIG DAY AT THE HOMECOMING ASSEMBLY THE CROWD URGED OUR VARSITY TEAM TO VICTORY OVER EL DORADO. IT WAS AN EXCITING WEEK FOR THE WHOLE STUDENT BODY 1. Dan Isaacsen prides himself on being a full-blooded 'geeIr on Nerd Day Z Joe Ezerskl gives his all to win spirit points in the tricycle race. 3. John Jordan and John Rudd don tlgr diapers for Little Kid Day, 4, Jodie Seebo and Karen Beebe converse at lunch in their '77erdie attire. Nerd Day was the most popular of the dress-up days. 5, Tricia Creason acts as the announcer for the lunchtime activities. 61 Christina Reyes, Tony Meyen Jennifer Mllhofl and Rich lWlo com- pete in the cross country ski race. four 2 f ?3p-1 , , no V + fe uc' f 'f six homecoming week!137
