IN PREPARATION THE GIRLS PRACTICED FOR ONE HOUR IN THE MORNING AND TWO TO THREE HOURS A DAY IN THE LA TE AFTERNOON ON TUESDA YS AND THURSDA YS, THE GIRLS USUALLY SPENT THEIR TIME WITH WEIGHT TRAINING. AC- CORDING TO THIS YEAR'S COACH CAROL HAR- MON THIS YEAR'S SWIM TEAM WAS THE BIG- GEST TEAM IN FIVE YEARS. WITH MORE FRESH- MEN IOINING THE TEAM THIS YEAR THERE WAS A DEFINITE SENSE OF FRESHNESS, WHICH WAS OF GREAT INFLUENCE TO THE TEAM'S SPIRIT AND DETERMINATION REFLECTING ON LAST YEARCS' TEAM THIS YEAR WAS MUCH MORE POWERFUL AND SHOWED MORE S TAMINA AND WILL CONTIN- UE TO GROW IN YEARS TO COME. 1. WILLIAM WANG AND MARCO LIANG, PETER LO AND ERIC HSU ELAN DA VIDSON AND STEVEN HSLL MERCY KUO AND KRIS TIN WA- TERS, JENNY YANG AND JANET HSU AND AKEMI MA TSUKUBO AND SHALINI PA TEL.
