oga! Toga! Toga! This chant no doubt conjures up images of the Latin Club. But, this club does much more than wear bed- sheets and olive branches. Latin Club got off to an exciting start even before the school year commenced with at- tendance at the State Lat- in Convention. L.C. Bird brought home many awards, and Richard Traylor was elected state a Chant — TOGA ; Trying their luck, Seon Yi and Chris Corde pass the orange dur- ing induction ceremonies. Such spirited fun sets these Latin scholars apart. oO Treasurer. As the school year progressed, club offi cers planned candy sales to support the club and to help cover convention ex penses. The club also vis ited Philadelphia where members viewed the Li- berty Bell, Independence Hall, and various muse- ums. Though Latin Club enjoyed many different activities, all of these ac- tivities promoted the study of language Latin Club
