Right: In need of advice, Peppermint Patty writes, “Dear ‘Good Mow Dedicated To A “Good SFnienc” t was a typical day for the Peanuts gang. Charlie Brown attempted to fly a kite and to play baseball; he failed at both. Lucy teased her baby brother, Linus and nagged Schroeder over mar- riage. Schroeder played his piano. Linus clung to his “one and only’ blanket. And, Snoopy danced, pranced, barked and few. It was just a typical day for the Peanuts gang. On May 5, Youre a Good Man Charlie Brown opened with Chad Neale in the lead as Charlie. He brought the right lack of confi- dence to the role. Emily Ann Flanders . Flying high, Snoopy shoots down the Red Barron, yet again. Marks as Lucy nagged, crabbed and teased. Clinging to his blanket, Stuart Ranson was Linus. Martin Vaughan, Schroeder, portrayed the Beethoven-loving pianist. Kel- ly Starnes was the perfect Peppermint Patty. Doug Max- well woofed it up as Snoopy. The play was dedicated to Jay Mallory, 1987 graduate who died this year in a boating accident. Jay was a talented actor who brought happiness and laughter to many. You're A Good Man Charlie Brown was a fitting tribute to a spe- cial friend. A scholarship has been established in his name. .. . Far Right: You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown

Prom 1989 Is Miduight Blue imousines lined the busy city street. Stu- dents dressed to the nines arrived at the Richmond Center on May 12 pre- pared for Midnight Blue, L. C, Bird’s °89 Pr@pit Couples stepped onto the J Dynia, Mike Lewis Shay poneet Patrick Gilligan escalator and stared, mouths agape. Blue and white balloons decorated the outstanding modern building. Tables set with decorative scrolls proved there would be no over- crowding tonight. Cou- ples danced to the beat of Casper until 10:30 when Midnight Blue Bryan, Kenny Tibbs Seniors lined up to be an- nounced. Applause roared as Mike Lewis and Jenny Bryan were crowned King and Queen. As the midnight hour ap- proached, couples said goodbye and headed out to enjoy breakfast with family and friends. :.
