Cast members f inish the opening song introducing Charlie Brown as a good man. Right: In need of advice, Peppermint Patty writes, “Dear ‘Good Mow Dedicated To A “Good SFnienc” t was a typical day for the Peanuts gang. Charlie Brown attempted to fly a kite and to play baseball; he failed at both. Lucy teased her baby brother, Linus and nagged Schroeder over mar- riage. Schroeder played his piano. Linus clung to his “one and only’ blanket. And, Snoopy danced, pranced, barked and few. It was just a typical day for the Peanuts gang. On May 5, Youre a Good Man Charlie Brown opened with Chad Neale in the lead as Charlie. He brought the right lack of confi- dence to the role. Emily Ann Flanders . Flying high, Snoopy shoots down the Red Barron, yet again. Marks as Lucy nagged, crabbed and teased. Clinging to his blanket, Stuart Ranson was Linus. Martin Vaughan, Schroeder, portrayed the Beethoven-loving pianist. Kel- ly Starnes was the perfect Peppermint Patty. Doug Max- well woofed it up as Snoopy. The play was dedicated to Jay Mallory, 1987 graduate who died this year in a boating accident. Jay was a talented actor who brought happiness and laughter to many. You're A Good Man Charlie Brown was a fitting tribute to a spe- cial friend. A scholarship has been established in his name. .. . Far Right: You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown
