Gymnasts Demonstrate he girls tum- bled their way to a vic- tory over Midlothian to start the season. First place win- ners were Julie Wilder- man on beam; Jennifer Hopkins on floor; Eliza- beth Traylor on bars; and Amy Nagle on vault. Amy, a former member of the Meadowbrook team, is a welcome addition to the Skyhawks’ gymnas- tics team. With a win over Midlothian, the shortened eason rolled with victo- ries over Lee-Davis, Colle- iate and Clover Hill. The girls who played at these meets were Julie Wilder- Winning Balance man, Jennifer Hopkins, Elizabeth Traylor, Lori McCarthy and Amy Na- gle. During Regional com- petition the team per- formed exceptionally with Julie Wilderman, Jennifer Hopkins, Eliza- beth Traylor placing on bars, beam and in all around, respectively. These girls continued to vault their way to the State Meet with each member putting forth the total effort needed to make it a great season.
