Ayanna Lane had a triple award-winning year, making the 2nd Team District, All-Tournament, and Honor- able Mention All-Metro teams. Another award-winning player was Heather Brand; she made the lst Team District, 1st Team All-Region, lst Team All-Metro, All-Academic Teams, and was the Most Valu- able Player for the Dominion Jeannie Ryals, Heather Front: Brand. Kept from scoring double digits only twice this season, Brand remarked, “A long as we win, I don’t care if I score two or if I score twenty . We’re like a family and we play as a team. I just want us to win.” Senior Jeannie Ryals, ju- nior, Danetta Henderson, teamed with sophomores Cam Phipps and Kelly Perkins for the other outstanding play of the season.
