French Club members bring materials to room 121... FHA will meet at Carey’s house at 2:30... Seniors will meet at Lisa’s . . . Spirit chain links are on sale in the commons... Look in the courtyard to see who is ahead . ... Freshmen float committee will meet today ... Anyone with top hats to lend, please see ... Tomorrou, break out the beach balls and come dressed ... Balloons on sale today ... Don’t forget those Dr. Denton’s tomorrow . .. dance tickets may be bought at the door . .. Voting for queen will be held in homeroom ... Mrs. Begley, please come to the office ... At the next tone seniors will report to the gym... Sam Tarry, Mike Wynn and Howard Perross were busy. The need to communicate reached new heights during the week. Most attempts brought success. Seniors captured the title for the spirit chain link competition for the fourth year putting their pennies on the line to show spirit. The trucks, the wood, hammers, nails and paint were transformed by magic into scenes from Broadway. Seniors again topped the competition with Juniors coming in second. In the club division, French Club took first place and Spanish Club walked away with second. On the business end of Homecoming, the Skyhawks overpowered Hugenot 14-0.
