This Yearbook is gratefully dedicated to Mr. Moynihan, who has not only helped us scholastically, but also has served as a class advisor, assistant football coach, and an all-round friend. Theme Our Yearbook of 1955 is centered around the theme The Future . To most of us the abstract word future implies a time which is to come in the here-after. It is a time for which we have made present-day sacrifices and have done a great deal of planning. When we were small children, our parents made plans and preparation for our future, and then as we entered school and gained responsibility, we too, started planning and preparing for our future. As we have planned, we have looked to our teachers for guidance. Today the future is very uncertain. It may bring jet planes, rockets, inter- planetary travel, or extensive use of the atomic bomb. However, in spite of what the future may hold, we shall have the training and guidance which our school and teachers have offered us t'o help us meet it with a challenge. And as our plane of life soars and hits air pockets and cross currents, as it undoubtedly will, we are certain we shall remain on the proper course and reach our pre-planned destination, for in the cockpit of our planes we shall have our past training and the influence of our teachers as our co-pilots. 2
