To represent the high school department at L.C.S. we have chosen Mr. Ellison. Ile received the degree PLS. in education at New York University and his masters degree at Columbia University. lle has also studied at Hunter College and Cornell University. Mr. lfillison came to Livonia in 1947. Besides teaching the sciences in our high school, Mr. Ellison has taken a very active interest in our sports program. He has coached several success- ful junior Varsity basketball teams. Mr. Ellison has also acted as advisor to sever- al senior classes and his extensive experience is always an aid. 19

Ka H , Bdsbang Ohmanv Crai ' S of forty-five members we had as our representa- tives on Student Council, Alice Phelps and Beverly Taylor, as Junior Red Cross, Barbara Schuster, and our mule train guide, Mr. Schaefer. ln order to keep those money bags growing, we sponsored a baked foods sale and two dances.
