To represent the high school department at L.C.S. we have chosen Mr. Ellison. Ile received the degree PLS. in education at New York University and his masters degree at Columbia University. lle has also studied at Hunter College and Cornell University. Mr. lfillison came to Livonia in 1947. Besides teaching the sciences in our high school, Mr. Ellison has taken a very active interest in our sports program. He has coached several success- ful junior Varsity basketball teams. Mr. Ellison has also acted as advisor to sever- al senior classes and his extensive experience is always an aid. 19

This year we are dedicating our yearbook to two of our teachers. We ave chosen Miss Mooney to repre- sent the grade school where we start our journey through our formal edu- cation. Miss Mooney is a graduate of Cena-seo Stale Teachers College and has had experience in a number of schools. She has taught in the jun- ior High Department of Livonia Cen- tral since 1925.
