THE FRESHMEN MICE ln Septeinber, IUII7, we, the Class of WSI, began our high school years with forty-lixe members under the guidance ol' Mr. Overs, our advisor. We elected as our otlicers, Larry Krisher, president: 'lheresa Quattrocchi, vice-presidentg and Melvin Coykendall, secretary-treasurer. We chose Anthony Wlest and May Mastin as our Student Council members and Mary Lucia Stoltman as our -Iunior Red Cross representative. Our lirst attivity was a very successful movie and dance featuring the lfreshnmn Band led by xlclillldlll Barrows. Our class has been enriched by many new members: Carolyn Reed from Bennett lligh. Buttaloi Robin ll.. ison Irom Monroe of Rochesterg Robert Annis and Melvin Coykendall, llemlotkg Delores Mellord. Scottsburgg and Beverly Smith from Marshall in Rochester. The following boys reported for basketball and showed great promise: Robert Phillips, Bud Wfest. George llllis, Ken Richardson, Robert Annis, Donald Jacobs, james Gritiin, Melvin Coykendall. l,.1rry Krisher, Bruce Barber, Wt1r1'e11 Beach, and Larrie Wfashburn.
